The facilities at Wychem are multi-purpose and the manufacturing equipment includes :-

All reactors are glass-lines and are fitted with

Steam heating to 125-130°
Glycol cooling to —5°
Water cooling
Vacuum

At Wychem the main business area is pharmaceutical intermediates and to further our involvement a current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) system is in operation.

Wychem has a product list containing over 1000 items but it should not be considered as a ‘catalogue’ from which we might supply laboratory quantities..

The items contained, therein, are products that have been made, at Wychem, at some time, on some scale. There is no pretence that all products have been made on a commercial scale. However, for all, a synthesis will be in place.

Wychem, with its speciality outlook, speciaiises in unusual isomers, and getting to these often involves the use of protecting groups.
